I was also pissed off that our guy got flagged for flinging that ucla guy around by his dreads ... Referee was fooled and called it a horse collar.  The two players exchanged (heated?) words about it afterwards and I would bet that the ucla guy's statement was "yeah, I know it's legal, b---ch..."

Refs were poor today.

Another weird thing about the stats that I learned last night digging through: our ratio of offensive pass interference to defensive pass interference in our favor is at a 1:1 ratio. Consistent with the theory, perhaps, that our wideouts don't get separation particularly well?

On our second to last TD, one of the UCLA players was beyond the line of scrimmage, screaming at the sideline and it looked like he was telling his coaches to throw a challenge flag. Anyone who watched from home, did they give an explanation on TV? He barely got back over the line of scrimmage and was way out of position when the ball was snapped, no doubt making Stepfan's TD run that much easier.
