Ledecky's feat is harder. Hawk has the glass in his hand. That's easier to control.

Katie's was harder but Tony's had more style.  Stanford gives Katie the edge.  Also, I really like chocolate milk, chocolate milk always wins.

Yup, that's what I was thinking. Also, there is a considerable difference between the two in terms of how full their glasses are. Maybe there's a metaphor in there.

It isn't just that there's no rotation or wagging or ducking, she also had to control acceleration & deceleration.
I'm sure good backstrokers can do this easily.   If it wasn't a training technique before, I bet it becomes one now.
