Thanks for the heads up. Texas is suppose to be a final four team. They didn't look that good against a weak opponent. Texas plays a 5-1 offense with a 5'7" setter. That won't work against Stanford.
Interesting some of the Georgia Tech players in a televised ACC match wore masks while playing. Overall the players high-fived each other after every play and didn't seem concerned about close contact with their teammates.

Surprisingly this is a good time to be a fan of women's college volleyball. There were seven games on TV today; at one point there were four games being televised at the same time.
Pitt, which was suppose to be a top five team lost and now has a record of 2-3. The selection committee for the spring NCAA tournament said they will take into account all fall matches so Pitt may not even make the tournament.

I am wondering how much playing in masks affected either team - both looked looked exhausted at end; but Pitt should have won that match
Watching KState vs Texas - rankings doesn't seem to mean much at this point, nobody looks real sharp

I agree. Texas (ranked #1 I believe) has some athletic front row players, but not completely polished in all-around volleyball skills. I would like to meet them in the NCAA tournament.
