I am enjoying interviews like this and the Zoom interviews of players like Booker, Antoine, Sarrell and Williamson that were recently posted.
I am more bullish on this season than others on this board and am excited to see them play. I think we are underrated and Oregon is overrated and I think we can knock them off in the first game. We could be a contender in the North if Mills stays healthy.
Reasons for my optimism: I think our Front 7 will be much better. Booker and Schaffer appear to be bigger and stronger than last year. With DWP, our starters will average over 300lbs. Pakola has a lot of upsidfe and will be part of rotation. JMF, Robinson and Miezan are in their best shape of careers and give us more athleticism at ILB than we have had for awhile. Reid, Fox and Fox should be solid pass rushers. Williamson and Antoine should be fine at safety. My biggest concern is CB. Losing Adeebo was a massive loss.
Our OL should be very solid. Dalman, Sarrell and Rouse are known quantities and all should be better this year. Bragg is getting good reviews. QB and WR are our strength. We will spread it around.
Oregon's offense is a big unknown. We can win a game with a score in the 20s 27-24?
