Surprise! New TreeCast is up, with special guest Jerod Haase. Hear how he hopes this team improves on last year (especially in one-possession games), how Ziaire Williams and the freshmen are looking, how the game against Utah Valley (and their head coach Mark Madsen) came about, and what excites him most about the season ahead. Link below. Enjoy! And then...full-on football mode starting on Thursday.

Thanks Troy great convo with Haase! I really appreciated Haase's comment about him finally having a senior-led team to help ingrain the culture into the younger players, even if they're one-and-dones. Also appreciated his candor about being concerned about turnovers with not having a PG on the floor but offsetting that with arguably the best defensive guard tandem in the Pac-12 and maybe one of the best in the country. This team will be tough to get 70+ on. The question is whether they can get to 70 on the other end.

This seems pretty spot-on. To corroborate, here's an eye-opener about last year's team. 68 seemed to be the magic number.
Record in games where opponent scored 68 or more:
0-9
Record in games where opponent scored below 68:
20-3
