During the telecast, I think there were 4 returns from commercial where we missed some live action. Did they forget to hire the guy who tells the refs to start play?
Other than that....the Ted Robinson hire was genius. Love that guy....and Glenn Parker's OK, too. They call a fair game but it seems obvious they're closet Stanford fans.

Not to mention confusing Levine Toilolo for Shayne Skov on consecutive weeks.
Thing is, my friends who are big hockey fans love what Versus does on hockey broadcasts. Guess there's only so much bandwidth there for good productions?

Versus also airs Pac-12 games nationally during East Coast prime time, and in a time slot that works quite well for Pac-12 fans. Those are good things really.
The ESPN thing is fun, but by 10:15PM Pacific I was flat out tired of watching football and turned off the Ducks and Devils game. Would anyone on the East Coast even see the end of a game at 1:15AM? or 1:45AM?
So while Versus is not exactly the best network, I do like that it enables Pac-12 teams to play on a national channel at a reasonable hour.
