I think that the defense looks pretty good, actually. One great catch by Pittman (with great defense by Bonner), and a big gain for the Ducks on third down on a quick snap. Other than that, solid by Stanford D.

2nd and 3 on the 23 and running the ball well. two incomplete passes, second one in the end zone when it looked like oregon wasn't stacking the box

If we were going to take a delay call, why not have the offense out there and try to draw them offsides for a 5 yard gain that may get us in FG range? If it doesn't work, we get the 5 yard penalty we got just standing around.

D looks improved overall. Bonner was right there with the guy on those couple crazy catches - just excellent effort by the receiver. And a couple BS penalties.
With Mills and Karty instead of Toner, we're up at least 7 at half.
TEs will have receptions once Mills comes back. Clearly we have a limited pass play selection for West.

Really great OL & RB so far. West a little better than expected but still not good. Defense OK but they are picking on Bonner and it seems to be working. Miezan looks good alongside Robinson

1. Um, why are you even passing it there?
2. And after the INC (and I agree he should have caught it), why not run it 2x more?
3. The same thing on next possession from inside Oregon 40. On 3rd and 8, you should try something short or medium (or even run the freaking ball) - instead, you try the hardest pass to complete (of course, INC).
Lex, this guy has no clue on how to run an offense in certain down-and-distance situations. Utterly clueless.
P.S. It's remarkable isn't it? Even with no fans to influence the refs, the zebras still screw the Cardinal.
P.P.S. Stanford had a chance in 1H . . . and of course, squandered it. That's what they do under Coach Squander.
