In addition to Mad Dog Madsen's Utah Valley squad, we get CA cupcakes Cal Poly, LMU (with Kodye Pugh!), and Sac State. The Maui Invitational field looks quite competitive (Alabama should be a tournament team, and other teams in the bracket include UNC, Texas, and Indiana). Should be very fun to watch.
In the first iteration of KenPom rankings, we debut at #33, third in the Pac-12 behind #21 Oregon and #28 UCLA. ASU and Arizona are both just behind us in the late 30's. This is our highest debut in KenPom in lord knows how long. Exciting!
