2020 Stanford vs Colorado Prediction Thread - george - 11-11-2020

Maybe they'll make it a 7 on 7 flag football affair?

I made a prediction in the thread last week; the link did not allow me to enter a guess at the top. Would you add me to the list of names and scores?

Thanks,
-m.

I think the widget stopped accepting predictions a day early last time. The link to the prediction thread stopped working too.

Red hot and Shame seem to favor Stanford opponents being picked as winners?

COLO can score, make it 24.  Broussard could be a handful behind a decent Buff-O-Line.
But their Defense is suspect, so I like Mills to get hot early.  5 TDs and 4 PATs:  34 for El Pasa Lotto.
Watch out:  Gamebreaker is #2 for COLO, L.Shenault a first round NFL pick after this season, All-Am WR, like Ty Montgomery.

I guess it's a good thing that trees can't get COVID:

If we win, will they rush the field?

For people predicting a medium scoring game — did you watch the Colorado-UCLA game last week?

I watched the 12 minute highlights, and I have never — NEVER — seen so little defense in a Power 5 game.

I am not blaming any players — these guys had a shortened Spring ball, then were told there’s be no football, then they had a shortened fall, and all of this with absences.

Now USUALLY teams improve a lot over the season, so maybe this week’s game will be completely unlike last week’s, but man, UCLA scored on like a 60 yard screen. They threw multiple times to receivers with no one within 20 yards. And Stanford’s receivers are even better.

The Colorado QB is dual threat — much more agile IMO than Oregon’s — so Colorado may put up a lot of points. I am thinking Shaw knows this, so Stanford’s plan has gotta be to score even more points. Whatever the Under-Over is, I pick Over.

I predicted Colorado to win.  For expressing my opinion I am listed as "Shame" at the top of the thread.

Just to be clear I hope Stanford wins.  I always cheer for Stanford to win every game in every sport.  But I honestly believe there are too many injuries and the defensive pass coverage breaks down at critical times.  I hope my prediction is wrong.

There is no emotion in gambling. Also no crying in baseball and play it as it lays.

Shenault is currently having a nice season for the Jacksonville Jags. He is pretty good, but is currently injured.

Ooops & apologies; didn't know there was an L. Shenault II. You kinda got me with that first round pick descriptor, as big bro only went 2nd round, but now I am wiser about the Buffs roster.
