WSU injury report -
Spiny_Norman - 11-17-2020
In addition to Stanford's injury report below, WSU is unlikely to have Max Borghi available. A back injury. They have not missed him very much. His replacement Deon Mcintosh has 239 yards in games vs Oregon and Oregon St.

It wouldn't surprise me if we have 3 season ending injuries between now and game time, but barring that, this could be the healthiest we have been in a couple of years assuming Kelly, Reid and Damuni who were playing a little banged up last week are healing and Osiris is truly ready to play. The winning streak starts Saturday!

The 2020 Cougs may be--
just MAY be--an outfit Shaw's team can beat. Put it this way, if Shawvita-Lance can't beat WSU this year, O for 2020 is highly likely. And to think that a mere three years ago Stanford was P12N champion. Coupla years before that, resounding RB Champs. It all seems SOOO long ago...Hope this post doesn't offend too many tender sensibilities out there. (Sigh)

It
would be a big deal to beat WSU (I can't believe I just wrote that). Stanford has lost 4 in a row to the Cougars.

Against the one team both Stanford and WSU have in common:
Oregon 35, Stanford 14
Oregon 43, WSU 29

If Mills suits up two weeks ago, Stanford scores more than 14. They don't win but they lay a another TD or two on the Ducks. Losing to Cougs would be the lowest point since the Wlat era. Must find a way this week, coach. Gotta have it.

Already there. First six-game losing streak since IdiotFace was our HC.

Adding insult to injury I saw a pac 12 conference power ranking this week (can’t remember if espn or si) that had Stanford at number 12.

If San Jose was in the conference Stanford would be 13th.

True.
BTW, is Oregon State really better than WSU? They could be; I'm just thinking Stanford could have a shot against OSU if things go poorly on Saturday. Or is that beyond the pale? (Even asking that last question is depressing).

Considering WSU beat OSU 38-28 (they were up 31-14, until OSU scored twice in the fourth), I am guessing WSU is probably the better team.

I'm betting we win one of the two. Is both too much to ask for? I hope not, but it could be.

Miezan and Farrar are crystal. Promise means nothing if you can't stay on the field. Hopefully they can contribute in the future but nobody should count on them and all LB positions need to be heavily recruited. Gigantic hole at ILB this year.
