Cup competition for 2020-21 still a possibility:

2020-21 Learfield IMG College Directors’ Cup Update - National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (nacda.com)

"... Both NACDA and Learfield IMG College look forward to resuming the Learfield IMG College Directors' Cup program in the future, with the hope that we can award the cups for the 2020-21 academic year, pending the national championships are able to be played across each of the above mentioned associations."
