Look alive, folks! The 3rd place game of the Maui/Asheville tournament starts in half an hour! (10:30AM, ESPN)
- Indiana has a starting guard likely out for the game with a nasty-looking ankle twist against Texas.
- Jaiden Delaire was out vs UNC with back spasms, so unsure if we'll get him back.
We are favored by 3. Indiana runs small like we do, so we shouldn't get killed on the boards again.
Bring it home (or to wherever you're going since it can't be Santa Clara County), boys!

Delaire is a game-time decision today.
I think not having Delaire yesterday might have affected the outcome. When Oscar went out quickly with foul trouble, we subbed in Keefe. Delaire is a better rebounder and defender.

2 fouls on Oscar... The only one to score for us early on.
We're getting destroyed in the paint. We're unable to stop then from scoring from 2-feet out.

Our offense seems to lose flow when they play man-to-man D. Let’s go! We can do this!
I didn’t know Bruce Hornsby’s brother went to Stanford but I’m still not sure why he is guesting...

Feels like we're getting out-executed but we're only down 3 with a minute to go in the half

We gotta drive to the hoop. Defense is keeping us in this game but offense has to show up. Don't want to get into another close game end of game scenario with the way we've been getting called for fouls.

Davis got absolutely shoved to the ground on that IU dunk. No call. Should've been a flagrant...maybe a 2.
These refs.

Don't know what's happened, but we are not playing as we did the past 2 games. Too many turnovers, and we are getting abused in the paint. We're also being whistled for a lot of fouls.

Yeah, wonder what the deal is with Williams. After looking so spectacular in the first game, he is a non-factor today.
Down by 10 with about 7 minutes to go. Looks pretty bleak.

3 games in 3 days. Lots of PT for the starters. Probably not as spry today as the first two games.
Not that it'd make up the deficit but it feels like we're leaving a lot of points on the floor at the free throw line this half.

I was not able to see the whole game but what I did see was UGLY...
The trees have a major problem in the paint. Need to fix that.
Also, how many air balls did they throw up today?
I still have hopes for this team...but they have work to do.

Reiss says the team is moving on to Chapel Hill and hoping to pick up some games in the area.

Well, we have an answer to what happens when Ziaire Williams has a bad shooting game.

Hung over from the North Carolina game is some of what's going on. Tar Heels beat them more than once.
That said, this event exposed some tangible deficiencies that will need attention. We got pimped by Trayce Jackson-Davis; at this point no one on our roster is at his level.

Well, they can't come home thanks to Dr. Cody.

Or can’t come home because it’s not a hoax

They can come home. They just have to quarantine and the can't play basketball when they return. Remember how we all laughed when the Italian stay at home order in Northern Italy leaked 6 hours before it went into effect and there was a rush to leave? Stupid Citizens were spreading the disease South and the Stupid Government didn't realize it was important to not give them a head start. We could have an interesting class at Stanford in the future called "Western Civilizations Behaving Stupidly". I sure hope Dr. Cody realized that her sports ban would produce this flight out of SCC and is perfectly fine with it doing so, because it was totally predictable. It may be she felt it was the best choice even with the exodus downside, but if she really believes playing sports is increasing the case load, she just exported it somewhere else. I wonder if she reached out to the University presidents before she issued this policy and asked them to "do the right thing"?

Is there another county in the country with such an order?
