Thanks... I haven’t followed the team very closely this year. Are they an itinerant homeless team like the football team, roaming from venue to venue, staying away from Santa Clara county?

Yep. So is WBB.

They couldn’t start the UA game an hour earlier? (I’m aware they moved football up.)

After the Arizona game today, Stanford will play Cal State Bakersfield in Santa Cruz on Monday at 6 pm with tv on P12N. The team will then take 10 days off before the next game at Corvallis on December 31.

So do team members go home for Christmas? If yes, must they stay out of SCC, lest they be required to quarantine for 14 days?
And if the team reconvenes 2-3 days before Oregon State game, where do they meet up? I suspect somewhere in Oregon.
The whole thing is bordering on the absurd.

From which side of the border? I would say it is well into absurd territory.

I'll go with "Entering the Twilight Zone".

Our long nightmare vs. Arizona is over. First win after 20 straight losses. Last win in 2009, Johnny Dawkins' rookie year as the coach.
And it's especially satisfying beating Sean Miller.
For those not able to watch, Arizona down 1 with under 10 seconds remaining, guard drove to the basket and Williams took the charge! A huuuuuuge play.
We'll have to wait for a report on Davis. He started and was playing well until an Arizona big man fell on his lower leg. Davis limped off and did not return.

Great win! The only downside is that a clumsy oaf for Arizona fell onto Davis and twisted his ankle so that Davis had to be helped off the court. He was walking around later, so let's hope it's nothing long-term.

Any win over Arizona is a quality win, so that's really good news.
I actually liked watching the game in the Santa Cruz venue had a bit of the same vibe and the NBA bubble court.

Was it his ankle? I thought it was his knee, but I didn't pay full attention. Ankle would be much better.
Also looks like he was well enough to hop afterwards...

My sense was that Davis was in pain, but by end of game was up walking around the celebrating with the team. could not tell if ankle or knee.
Loved this W, and loved ZW getting hot and showing a more complete game, with the charge by far my favorite. Even a bit of alley-oop action!

Now that he's been T'd up twice for dunks...will it happen a 3rd time? Neither dunk was egregious, but I guess I could see an argument if you were looking to blow the whistle.

He's young and dunking in a D1 game is exciting, but he needs to stop doing that.
