Arizona State and WSU are receiving votes but would have to jump above a lot of teams to make the top 25.  I don't see that happening in the next couple weeks; maybe by the end of the season.

Arizona drops one spot because they lost to the #1 team. In the WVB poll, AVCA coaches poll, a team would not be penalized for losing to the #1 team; different criteria and mindset.

I'm old enough to remember when we lost to Tennessee and actually went *up* in the poll.

WBB game of the week - UConn at Baylor on Thursday. We can enjoy watching Dijonai Carrington vs. UConn. Don't think I can say anything else about "enjoying" a Kim Mulkey team even against the Huskies.

Assuming Brink doesn't need surgery, I would sit her out on Friday and let her rehab for two weeks if a minor injury.

As I remember, I was taught not to stare.  Especially, at Oregon Stare.  HaHa.

This is another top-11 game, probably the one most of the country would judge Stanford by.
Oregon is going to have a chip on their shoulder after their loss.

If Brink is at significant risk of aggravating the injury or re-injury, she should sit out.  If there is little risk, then she should be at least ready to play if needed.  (And, there is a gray area in between.)

My impression from the game video is that it was a slight hyperextension of the knee.   I don't know the impact of that is on play, nor the risk of further injury.
