NC State player scored 15 points in overtime.
Must place in the record books.

RE: WBB: VTech 83 NCST 72 ot - BostonCard - 01-28-2021

It must have been a VTech player; NCSt only scored 14 points (as a team) in OT.  26 points by Viriginia Tech must be some sort of record as well.   Thtat's more than 5 points a minute, and equal to their scoring output in the entire first half (20 min)!

Age creeping up on me.
Yes, a Hokie scored those 15.

Meanwhile, Arkansas leads UConn 52 - 43, with 7:03 remaining in 3rd quarter.  Live on Espn2.

Arkansas 72 - UConn 62  End of 3rd quarter.  Game is at Arkansas.

RE: WBB: VTech 83 NCST 72 ot - Jskass - 01-28-2021

so far this season, UConn's best win is only vs. top 20 (DePaul, 18/20). VERY INTERESTING.

RE: WBB: VTech 83 NCST 72 ot - BostonCard - 01-28-2021

UConn on a 7-2 run to start the fourth quarter.  Lead is down to 5.

Arkansas is coached by Mike Neighbors who was at Washington when Kelsey Plum played there.

I notice another familiar name on the Arkansas roster - Destiny Slocum, former OSU Beaver (and Maryland before that).

#19 Arkansas WINS 90-87 over #3 UCONN.

Louisville is now the only remaining unbeaten team.

Don’t forget Slocum committed to Washington out of HS. :)

Yes, she finally is playing for the coach she committed to out of HS.

Great to see those other teams get some crooked numbers in the L column.

For those hoping for a trifecta of the top 3 teams losing,  #1 Louisville beat North Carolina 79 - 68

RE: WBB: VTech 83 NCST 72 ot - M T - 01-28-2021

So sad to see UConn fall.... Not!

RE: WBB: VTech 83 NCST 72 ot - Softball Fan - 01-28-2021

North Carolina State plays Louisville on Monday so NC State will probably have two losses after that.

UConn plays South Carolina on Monday Feb 8 so one of those teams will have two losses.

Stanford has opportunity to percolate back up in the polls if they take care of business.

This reminds me a little of Stanford WVB. Most of the fans of teams in the top ten are usually cheering for Stanford to lose in hopes their team might move up in the polls.

As result of U Conn and NC State losses, Charlie Creme has adjusted bracketology -- still has U Conn as a #1, but has dropped NC ST to a #2, and moved Stanford back up to a #1
