Playing WP twice in one day sounds really taxing, but I don't know the sport well at all. How do they handle it?

Pretty common though the age group / Junior Olympic type tournaments. Sometimes three in a day. . . .How do they handle it. Conditioning and a bench.

It's been a half-century, but I don't remember playing two games in a day as difficult. I don't remember being much tired late in a game. Usually the other team is also playing their second.
Nowadays, playing two minutes in a day would be overtaxing.

Down 10-6 at the half, on 5 consecutive goals by the bad guys. Stanford does not look to be the better team. Too many turnovers, not enough clean offense, too many major fouls, and giving up too much inside.

Not even close...Lost 16-11. Stanford couldn't even score on an exclusion of the goalie.
11 power plays given up, but that wasn't the cause.
The opposing goalie was good or our shots were bad.
