WVB UPDATE - BobK - 03-28-2021
Tied at 2 and one of the sets Stanford lost was 33-31
Washington is the 8th ranked team in the country

I couldn't DVR this one because it's only on Pac-12 Washington. So I've only been able to catch part of the 5th set. Stanford down by 1 point 12-13.

We were bound to have a down year after graduating such an accomplished class. Hopefully, we are reloading this year (how's recruting?) to return to prominence next year.

Plus the players coming back from injury should be very good. Kipp and Campbell are known quantities, and L. Smith is very promising. I don't really know anything about Lougeay, but from her bio she ought to at least be a pretty good DS.

In the joy of the celebration of the WBB National Championship, we should at least spare a moment to think of WVB in the wake of this very unfortunate season. The 48-team bracket was just announced, and it’s (obviously) missing the Cardinal for the first time ever. Alas, PennSt made it in, and they are now (I believe) the only school to have competed in every NCAA post-season. All things considered, I don’t really think it’s fair to count this season...but no way I’m not counting the WBB Championship, so that’s life, I guess...

Sad for Stanford's streak ending.
But we've got nine WVB championships to PSU's six, so I'll focus on that.

This is confusing to me. If oglivie is Pac 12 honorable mention, shouldn't she have made the all frosh team too? Conversely, if all frosh is somehow more selective than pac 12 honorable mention, why didn't baird make HM also? Are they mutually exclusive teams?
