This loss at home must have been a gut punch to the Bruins.  

Now they have to travel up to Palo Alto to take on a team that dropped 40+ on their last two opponents on the road, including UCLA's bitter rival USC.  How will they respond?  Will they be more or less motivated than if they had beaten Fresno?

I think UCLA will be fine psychologically, but I know they lost a key cog in their DL to injury. Fresno State also ran something like 90 plays, which has to have some kind of cumulative physical effect on a defense that perhaps will be felt Saturday.

90 plays?!  Vandy was shredding us when they were in hurry-up offense. I don’t know why they abandoned it. We always seem to have problems when we can’t get situational subs on the field.

Ironically, they have been.  Fresno is 3-0 against UCLA since 2001 (though 0-6 before that).

If they do that in Stanford Stadium, we'd better be ready for it and get those fans ejected.

Maybe, they got a lot of props for beating LSU.  But not sure LSU is that good.  One thing I’m certain of.  Stanford is going to have to slow game down.  Can’t win in a shootout.  And they could get boat raced……

Well LSU has beaten McNeese State 34-7 and Central Michigan 49-21....

I just think they are a bad match-up for us; they are a good running team and we have a porous run defense, and we have struggled with mobile quarterbacks.

UCLA is a bad match-up for the Stanford defense, but the Stanford offense is a bad match-up for UCLA's D.
And Stanford has won 12 of the last 13 contests.

Super excited to see what happens over the next two weeks.

Yeah, pretty sure this is a big stat for Vegas. Also, UCLA did not exactly start the season with sky high expectations.
