Luper, though only 5’9”, is a very impressive attacker; really good hops. Should be an interesting matchup against the our taller PIN hitters.

A watching recommendation, if you are in the Bay Area and can get PAC-12 Bay Area (Comcast 1330) in addition to PAC-12 Net (Comcast 823): The immediately preceding program on PAC-12 Net is UW-WSU WVB. If that match runs long, it will cut into the broadcast of our match on PAC-12 Net. But on PAC-12 Bay Area, the immediately preceding program is a re-run of something else that will end on time and not cut into the broadcast of our match.
I assume a similar situation applies if you are in LA and can get PAC-12 LA in addition to PAC-12 Net.

I didn't allow enough time to get through the line, but got here at about 8-6 Stanford in set 1. 13-8 now and UCLA calls time.

We take the first set in pretty dominant fashion, 25-18. Miner was distributing the ball widely.

Vicini 7 block assists
Elsewhere WSU vs wash sets tied 2 to 2. Wash won 2nd set 46 -44. WSU had at least 6 service errors on set point in set

Miner is soooooo good. The one handed quick set was amazing, and she has such great instincts (and is so deceptive) when going for it on two. Also, she’s athletic enough to have gotten a couple blocks, and is a plus server.
After a slow start, we take the second 25-18.
