Next 5 Matches:
*************
@ #14 Oregon
vs #24 Colorado
vs #15 Utah
@ #29 WSU
@ #11 Washington
This is where Stanford's experience in their OOC schedule of 6 consecutive vs. Top 25 will come into play and hopefully serve them well.
@ #14 Oregon (Sunday, Oct 10, 2021 @ 12 noon PDT):

***********************************
#1 Blocks/Set (2.83 vs Stanford's 2.60)
#1 Digs/Set (16.20 vs Stanford's 13.52)
My (conservative) prediction:

Nitpicking the post title: #29 is not quite top 25. The point holds: this is another challenging stretch in the schedule. Thanks for the post!

Noted.
Modified to Top 25+ description, like in my previous posts regarding these types. And Colorado will most likely drop off from the Top 25 to just Top 25+ after straight set loss to UCLA last night.

Starts at noon on Pac 12 channel. Note womens soccer on the other Pac 12 channel
Just watched Marymount continue to be the top team in the country. Our recruit Rubin was excellent in the win. As was recruit Belardi the setter. Mcpeak the announcer confirnrd Belardi will be both Beach and Indoor Young Keefe also very good but Rubin really stood out

So Rubin will be Stanford's one and only scholarship recruit for 2022. Belardi and Pringle must be walk-ons. I know money is not an issue for Belardi.
I'm enthusiastic about Anna Pringle. Hopefully she plays indoor. Will really add depth and quality to the back row. I saw she has a 4.57 weighted GPA.
BTW, there already is an Oregon match thread on the second page.

Marymount vs Mt Notre Dame of Ohio. Marymount is a high school all-star team. Rubin is #13. Belardi, the setter, is a really good setter. Stanford will have an abundance of setters to back up Miner.
Rubin is better than the last time I saw video of her; a complete player. She might find playing time as a freshman.

2-2 final; Stanford came back from 2-0 and outshot OSU 9-2 in the second half, but no dice. Spent the extra period down a man.

Returning the thread to WVB, a big difference between UO and us is the quality of passes on serve receive. Our serve receive has improved in that we are not getting aced that much and Kami can at least set a hittable ball, but the passes are still well off the net, so the only setting option is high outside. Hard to set MBs with these passes, making our offense predictable.

I totally agree.

Set 4 was very close, so it really hurt that Francis was out for a few points. Tufuga had to fill in because Berty had already been used as a serving sub for another player.

Too many sets to a hitter who was double blocked.
