Texas up 14-0 vs. Oklahoma after only several minutes. That said, there was a horrible missed holding call on Texas on that first play from scrimmage that went to the house. Can't believe the ref missed that.

Man, tackling in that game is about as bad as Stanford’s. Oklahoma just burned a time out to prevent a delay of game.

OU/UT may have bad tackling but it has loads of athletes. Marvin Mims just made the catch of the year. A Stanford decommit, they could have used him this year.
Stanford OL has been poor but when you see the RB’s that these teams have you realize how limited Jones and Peat are.

In the meantime, the other former USC coach just watch Arkansas score a TD with 1 second left. Arkansas goes for 2 but doesn’t get it and Kiffin survives on the failed 2 point conversion.

55-48 final. OU wins. Rattler was benched in the second half. OU outscored Texas 34-10 in the 2nd half.

Tough loss for Texas. Absolutely gut-wrenching for teams like BYU and Cincinatti hoping to go undefeated and make the playoff. I don't think they would get in ahead of an undefeated Oklahoma.
I've penciled in Alabama, Georgia and the Big Ten-ish conference winner (the Big Ten conference has enough depth that even a one-loss champion gets in, I think, and I don't see Bama or Georgia losing to anyone except each other).

BYU loses at home to a Boise State that had a losing record, which creates serious problems for anyone dreaming of an ASU run to the playoffs.

Refs having a tough time in the Michigan Nebraska game. FIrst they gave Michigan a bogus PI call; then they missed a delay of game on the touchdown (on the nice replay from behind, the clock was clearly at 0).
