The addition of McD All-Americans 6'6 AKUNWAFO at C and 6'4 MARSHALL at SF/SG will hopefully bolster USC's rebounding and post/perimeter defense.  Last season, USC was dead last in offensive rebounding, defensive rebounding and rebounding margin (-8.57 reb/game, while 2nd worst Washington was -2.67) among  PAC-12 teams, so AKUNWAFO at 6'6 and MARSHALL at 6'4  should help in these statistical departments.

I predict a starting line-up of:

F  -  6'0    Alisa PILI                    (Jr)      (11.0 ppg , 3.8 rpg) ;  (during her All-PAC 12 Fr season:  16.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg)       
F  -  6'4    Rayah MARSHALL      (Fr)  
C  -  6'5    Angel JACKSON          (Jr)      (7.6 ppg , 4.3 rpg , 1.9 bpg , 1.1 spg)
G  -  5'11  Jordyn SANDERS       (Gr)     (11.7 ppg , 3.5 rpg , 1.2 bpg , 1.2 spg , 40% 3pt)
G  -  6'0    Tera REED                  (Gr)     (career highs @ VCU:  15.2 ppg (Jr) , 5.8 rpg (Fr) , 3.6 apg (Sr) , 1.3 spg (Sr) , 40% 3pts (So))


and the following reserves as part of their 10-player regular rotation:

F  -  6'2     Jordyn JENKINS          (So)      (6.3 ppg , 4.2 rpg , 50.7% FG)
F  -  6'2     Amaya OLIVER           (So)      (5.1 ppg ,  4.1 rpg , 48.7% FG) 
C  -  6'6     Clarice AKUNWAFO   (Fr)    
G  -  5'8     Desiree CALDWELL   (Sr)      (5.1 ppg , 2.0 rpg , 3.0 apg)
G  -  5'10   Kyra WHITE               (Jr)       (2.5 ppg , 2.1 rpg , 3.0 apg) 
G  -  5'8     Shemera WILLIAMS  (So)     (9.0 ppg , 2.6 rpg , 2.1 apg , 1.4 spg)

If 6'0 PILI returns to her All-PAC 12 Selection form as a freshman two season ago, and depending on how McD AA freshmen 6'4 MARSHALL and 6'6 AKUNWAFO perform and how New Zealand senior national team member 6'0 Tera REED contributes, USC might make some noise during this forthcoming season.
