I appreciate that Cameron BRINK pushes herself to be the best she can be on the court, but at the same time, has a wonderfully holistic approach to life, thanks to a very supportive family and boyfriend.

Wow!  How I MISS that Oregon Coast!  Having lived full-time in the Portland OR/Vancouver WA area from 1992 thru 2007, driving to and unwinding amidst the grandeur of the Oregon Coast really gave me a breath of fresh air, away from the hussle and buzzle of city life.

And, hey! Bob!  This makes me reminisce our annual get togethers during the summer basketball tournaments around the Metro Portland area from 2005 thru 2009, assessing prospective Stanford WBB recruits:

-  starting with Jayne APPEL, JJ Hones, Mel MURPHY and Michelle HARRISON in 2005,
-  then Kayla PEDERSEN, Jeanette POHLEN, Hannah DONAGHE and Ashley CIMINO in 2006,
-  then Nneka OGWUMIKE, Sarah BOOTHE and Lindy LA ROCQUE in 2007,
-  then Jos TINKLE and Mikaela RUEF in 2008,
-  and finally Chiney OGWUMIKE, Sara JAMES and Toni KOKENIS in 2009.

Come to think of it, these were the eventual Stanford recruits responsible for the 2nd coming of Cardinal WBB GOLDEN AGE when they strung together 5 consecutive Final Four appearances from 2008 thru 2012, and then again in 2014!

And through our escapades, I suddenly became HOOPGURLZ' resident statistical analyst for and presentor of the top recruiting classes for 2007, 2008 and 2009, working for Brandon CLAY (where is he now?)  Ha, ha, ha!

That was FUN!

I certainly remember Joe. Miss those days
I haven’t been since 2018. With the offer to Davidson and several other NW Stanford possibles I may go back this year.

I grew up on the side of Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain, in Neah-Kah-Nie, a suburb of Manzanita.  Spent last week there, naturally doing the hike to Short Sands Beach, our old surfing spot, and the compulsory visit to the Gut in Seaside.  To make it even better, I walked the beach with my sophomore and junior year girlfriend.  Still adorable, she and I hadn't seen each other in over 54 years.

Cameron and her boyfriend Ben? are a cute couple.  He looks a bit taller than her and very athletic.  I think Tara and Hasse should make early scholarship offers on their first child.

Thanks so much for posting this. A really worthwhile look into who she is. (And yep, I'm in there too, with that longing for the Oregon coast). So many good things about Cameron -- including the fact that she has a dog (just like the Hulls, and Tara, and how many more on the team, I wonder)
