Stubhub has $6 tickets to get in. $20 tickets to sit on the lower 50 yardline.

Guessing 15K in seats by second quarter. 8k after halftime.

looking at our tailgate group I'm expecting ~33% attendance tonight so if the announced attendance is my expected 35,000 then maybe 12,000 actually there....

Stanford lucked out with the weather. A sloppy night like last week would have put attendance in the low 000's tonight. As it is, the TV crews will have to do some angular, smoke-and-mirrors magic. A couple of tepid teams (in a weak conference) playing a game of interest mainly to players, family-and- friends and the inner-core of the hardcore red-hots. I've been to too many of those games. No mas.

I was there to watch Stanford beat Rice... Last game of a mediocre season, in the rain. I will be there tonight. On fact, I invited a friend to come with me so I will have added 1 to the total.

I decided to come anyway. 30 minutes pre kickoff the crowd is pretty thin, no surprise.

My son got a BS and MS from Stanford.  Never went to a football game.  Knew nothing about the team.  This was back in the Andrew Luck days when Stanford was really good.
