Stanford Live Stream - Bampa - 11-11-2021

The live stream shows replays after EVERY basket. It shows the replay while LIVE ACTION is in play on the court.

I suppose some might like so many replays, but I do not like to miss any action. I find the excessive replays to be extremely annoying.

I suggest they show selected replays but not on every basket.

Thoughts...

I think every home tsam in Pac12 does same

That's because it's the same feed used on the scoreboard. It's produced much more with fans at the game in mind than streaming viewers.

Thanks, CompSci. I still don't like it but I now understand the reason they do this.

I actually liked the replays.  Yeah, we (the audience) missed a few steals on the inbounds live.  But the replays showed some of those.

However, I'd say that it might be preferable for the (too-low) scoreboard to get the replay full screen, while the live stream continue with the full-court view and a picture-in-picture of the replay.  That way, for essentially the same production effort, both audiences get what they want to see.
