Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - martyup - 11-13-2021

OU is about to get their first loss.  Baylor is up 17-7 with 7 minutes to play.

Arizona is up on UT 14-7 in the 1st.  More evidence that we suck.

Baylor's secret is wearing uniforms that camouflage perfectly with the field.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - Phogge - 11-13-2021

Sooners go down.

Wasn't easy but Lex's nemesis beat Penn State. Now 9-1.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - martyup - 11-13-2021

Alabama were 52 point favorites in today's game.  And they covered.

I'm not sure we could beat AZ this season.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - Phogge - 11-13-2021

SMU is 8-2 and put 55 points and 631 yards on UCF. Sonny has a fun offense.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - JJJ - 11-13-2021

AZ blocks Utah punt and scores to pull within 2 with 10 minutes left.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - Phogge - 11-13-2021

Colgate goes down. Now 4-6. So perhaps Stanford could be 1-0 next year, perhaps.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - martyup - 11-13-2021

Coastal Carolina is about to suffer their second loss of the season to Georgia State.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - Austroturf - 11-13-2021

Utah will survive.  Up  9 points with two minutes and change remaining.

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - lex24 - 11-13-2021

I guess Purdue’s HC isn’t all that after all…..  OSU 45-17 at half.

Brown of Oregon the ideal college QB. Can really run it and throws darts.

Joel McCrea movie very entertaining. How did Stanford score the second TD?

RE: Other Fooball Games (Week 11) - martyup - 11-13-2021

Sark's Texas Longhorns are going into OT with the 1-8 Kansas Jayhawks.

It's 55-56. Jayhawks are going for 2 in the first OT to get the win.

And Kansas converts and wins it! In Austin.

A five game losing streak for Sark.  Not good at Texas.  They fire coaches for sport.

And yet strangely he sucked against the weakest defense he played all year (Stanford).  14/26 for 186 yards, 0 TD’s and one very costly interception (the pick six).  And 35 yards on 12 carrys.

BC

In hindsight, it is evident that Oregon missed their OC, Joe Moorhead (he had emergency surgery and was not at the game), more than anyone realized at the time.

I just read that Texas was a 31 point favorite over Kansas.

With Texas and Oklahoma losing is the SEC asking themselves "Have we made the right decision?".

I don't care if Oregon didn't have any coaches at all. No way can they be considered a playoff team given they found a way to lose to the worst team in the Power 5 right now beyond Vanderbilt. That team is Stanford, and I imagine Vandy would beat Stanford if they played now, so Stanford is right now the worst team in the Power 5. Remember in 2015 how Stanford wasn't considered a playoff team because it lost at Northwestern?

The good news is the committee will see Notre Dame name the score at Stanford in a two weeks, and be forced to think long / hard about how that Stanford team beat Oregon. While Cincinnati beat that Notre Dame team in South Bend.

In any case, Utah will likely beat the floats. That's the game I have circled for next week.
