Schultz has had a solid NFL career.

Quote:An ankle injury suffered in Sunday's loss at Miami will cost Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey the rest of the season.

An MRI Monday morning revealed an injury severe enough to place him on injured reserve. Because of the time it would take to recover, and because it will be his second time on injured reserve this season, the news means McCaffrey will miss out on the Panthers' final five regular season games after the bye week.

The Texans suspended Justin Reid for yesterday's game.

Serves then right to have lost to the lowly Jets for letting their ego get in the way and suspending Reid.

In other news, McCaffrey injured again, back to IR. This means he's out the rest of the season.

Let's see . . . sign massive contract; don't play due to injury.  SMH.

Toohil starting at DE for the Wash FB Team. Good for him for sticking with it. I think I remember he ran around a 4.5 somewhere along the line and wondered why we didn't have him rushing the QB. Of course, he was injured now and then.

He really shone his final year (the generally desultory 2019 season). He made 2nd team All P12 with 11.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks (5th in the conference). Added 10 quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, one pass breakup and one blocked kick.

RE: Stanford in the NFl - IM in OC - 12-28-2021

Didn't seen it mentioned anywhere but OT Kyle Murphy was signed by the NO Saints and got into last nights game with about 4 minutes left in the game.
His last NFL action was in 2017. He was cut by the Saints back in September, this season.

By all accounts, he worked his ass off last offseason to get back on the field.  RB’s in the NFL get hurt.  A lot.  Cook has been hurt a lot.  Henry out about half this year. Kamala has been hurt a fair amount.  All guys that get a ton of reps.  There is a reason RB’s have a short shelf life.

Kamala? Think I'd better refrain from any commentary or attempts at humor on that slip up.

Lol.  Autocorrect bites again (along with my lousy proof reading). I meant Kamara of course.

RE: Stanford in the NFl - Phogge - 12-29-2021

You mean Kamara Harris from D3 Manhattanville College? 5’5 145 pound scatback?
