Depending on what DTR does, Garber's brother may be available.

I assume Cal is aiming higher, more along the lines of Slovis, but we'll see.
DTR is still making up his mind, but Rattler deciding to go to South Carolina after initially being linked with UCLA makes me think that people think he's staying.

I am sure Slovis is on Kal's radar, so I agree with that. However, the younger Garbers has looked pretty good and supposedly is better than his older brother. Not sure Slovis would consider Kal a good program for him. He probably figures he has shown enough to go to an already competitive progam. It will be interesting.

Fair enough, and Garbers is a good player. I'm not sure if he would be automatically eligible if he transferred (since he already used his one-time transfer from Washington to UCLA) or if he would have to receive a waiver. As you said, it also depends on DTR's decision re the draft.
I'm sure Phogge's adopted son Jay Butterfield is monitoring this situation although presumably he would have to compete with someone else that Cal brought in.

Rattler was probably also influenced by knowing the South Carolina head coach (Shane Beamer), they overlapped at OU
