He probably was involved in the evaluation of Barkley coming out of High School. UW plays SC this weekend. And UW has already played Luck for the last time. Put those things together and I would expect him to say something like that.
Bet if he became the coach of the Colts or the Dolphins in January he would sing a different tune.
I think it's a mistake.... -

Must be something in the air in the Northwest. Paul Wulff says UC East Bay is the best team in the conference :o :

Quote:They are the best-looking football team that I have seen in this conference, period, Washington State coach Wulff said of California (5-4, 2-4 Pac-12) after the 59ers beat the Cougars 30-7 on Saturday.
Or maybe he was just impressed by how handsome the UC East Bay players were...

If Wulff knew what to say or do, his football team would be in a lot better shape.

Wulff is trying to save his job. Washington State lost to Oregon by 15. They lost to C.a.l by 23. He needs to calm the masses and give the alums a reason to believe they can beat UW. And you know, I think they can beat UW because UW is definitely NOT the best team in the conference.
