A good destination for him, I think: Mike D\'Antoni likes his forwards versatile, and he likes if they can play an undersized 4. I think Landry is or can do both in the future, so maybe he can earn himself a spot in the NBA. Congrats!

Quote:NEW YORK, NEW YORK:

The Knicks finally joined the draft at No. 38 and No. 39, a reward for the 2,000 or so diehards who stuck around as the draft weaved into the second round. After chanting for Jeff Van Gundy, the former Knicks coach who is working for ESPN during this draft, New York selected Andy Rautins, a 6-5 shooter from Syracuse and the son of former pro Leo Rautins. That drew a mix of boos and wild cheers. Then came the Knicks\' second pick -- Stanford forward Landry Fields. That selection produced a rain of boos. Welcome to New York, fellas.

New York fans have never been known for their rationality.

Also, Ernie Grunfeld just kicked the Knicks in the shin: http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nba/columns/story?columnist=oconnor_ian&id=5326055

Thanks to Grunfeld, Chicago can sign two max salary free agents now, matching New York\'s numbers, and Chicago also has Derrick Rose + friends of King James.  This could definitely change things in the race to land LBJ.

I think it\'s a significant tell. As a Bulls fan, we\'ve always been very frustrated by the Bulls\' front office\'s unwillingness to pull the trigger. That they\'ve decided to trade one of "their guys" (Hinrich) for a mere chance at these guys is very suggestive.
