You are watching because you are loyal.

Just don’t let the AD take advantage of your loyalty.

Maybe it’s because Stanford leads

What are you smoking Bobbbbbbbb?

RE: MBB at Arizona. Right now - burger - 03-03-2022

Well, that was unexpected.  39-37 good guys at the half.  We had a ton of turnovers but shot lights out.  O'Connell had 16.  We have a ton of fouls, too.

39 was our total against Cal.  Inconsistency is the hallmark of Haase's teams.

BobK speaks the truth.

I missed the first half, but the second half is a reminder of what I said ages ago on another thread about Keefe vs Raynaud. Keefe isn't a Pac-12 talent except off the bench for a few minutes when desperate. Raynaud has so much of a higher ceiling it's laughable. Wish Haase had figured out what we could all see from game 1 on this.

MOC is on fire!

RE: MBB at Arizona. Right now - Madera86 - 03-03-2022

AZ pulling away. Have we got anything left in the tank? C'mon, Boys!

RE: MBB at Arizona. Right now - martyup - 03-03-2022

With 8:25 to play and we trail by only 1 point, why is Beskin on the floor?

14-6 Arizona run since you wrote that and after a promising start, we just faded in the end.

It's hard to believe this is the same Stanford team that score 39 points against cal.

Why?  We’ve scored 8 points in the last 10 minutes, which extrapolates to 32 minutes in a game.  Let’s face it, we are not a consistent offensive team.

Yeah, all in all, this was a good showing, esp compared to where we've been. Some great shooting and good ball movement creating good looks, but many of the same weaknesses have continued: way too many turnovers, terrible free throw shooting (2-9, really guys??), don't get to the line (9 free throws is nothing even if they're not making them). Foul trouble obviously was killer too.

The game, sadly, reflects the season.  Surprising start, and we run out of steam.

It reflects this season, and really every season under Haase.

Did not watch, but glad those who did were rewarded with what sounds like a respectable showing.

Here's to hoping the losing streak ends at four.

Anyone know if this is the longest losing streak of the Haase era?

5 games is the longest losing streak in Haase:s tenure, ending the season last year.

And, boy, do Haase's teams tank into the end of the season.  Here's how we finished his seasons:
2022: 4 losses and counting
2021: 5 losses
2020: 3 losses
2019: 3 losses
2018: 1 loss!  That was our NIT year--we made the second round.
2017: 4 losses

That's just an awful record for a coach.

And, an awful coach...for the record, though apparently a very good guy.

RE: MBB: Stanford 69 Arizona 81 - BostonCard - 03-03-2022

2022: 3-7 in the last 10 games
2021: 4-6
2020: 4-6
2019: 4-6
2018: 6-4
2017: 3-7

Only one season with a record above .500 over the last 10 games.
