1. Rose Zhang
2. Rachel Heck
3. Sadie Engleman
4. Brooke Seay
5. Aline Krauter
I. Caroline Sturdza
I. Angelina Ye
These are the 7 players that I expect to be on all remaining rosters this year, although we could see others appear if one or more of them is playing in an LPGA event which is a very real possibility with multiple upcoming tournaments on the West Coast

The club is supposedly the first course in the USA designed by Alister MacKenzie. 6,600 plus yards.
I've played his Gleneagles in McLaren Park in The City which is a beast (9 holes, multiple whites so you can play 18) and Pasetiempo (thank God in a scramble). At McLaren except for the par threes it seems like every lie is not level.
Fairfax has a great coffee spot, a good donut place, a couple of restaurants and a citizenry who can be downright impolite at times. Not anywhere as nasty as denizens of Bolinas.

We have an annual exchange with Pasatiempo. It kicks my butt every year. I've never played Meadow but I'm working my network to get out there this year!
MacKenzie was a consultant on the original Stanford design even though William Bell & George Thomas are credited as course architects. When the bunkers were redone a few years ago, they were made "MacKenzie style" to pay homage to him

#1 fairway at Gleneagles is inaccessible to me. Everything I hit ends up in the right rough among the gum trees. Totally slanted. I actually parred it once after hitting my second into the bunker front right. Forget about the downhill hole up against the fence where the muggers from the Sunnydale Projects would sometimes hang out. I finally figured out that I couldn't handle the course and haven't played there in years. I loved playing Pasatiempo but it's now way beyond me.
Hope you get on at Meadow. I'm down to one round a week at the beautiful nine holer in GG Park and an occasional 18 at the little course in Sebastopol. Blasted age.

Stanford last in the field in birdies. Usually they are near the top. Maybe they are having a tough time figuring out the greens.
Also really impressive play by San Jose St. 4 golfers under par.

Much better performance in Round 2, moving up several spots into second place, but still 13 shots behind SJSU.
T6. Zhang -3
T12. Krauter -1
T22. Seay +2
T36. Englemann +6
T41. Heck +7
T30. Sturdza +5
T30. Ye +5

today we've managed to overtake SJS on the strength of Zhang's 64 (!), and Seay's -5 with one hole left.
We are one up on SJS with just 3 player-holes to go.
But SJS took the trophy with 2 late birdies--they have now beaten us twice!!
Heck finished last among our 7 players competing--what's up with that?

Looks like Heck may finish last among our 7 players competing!
Great finish by SJSU with 2 late birdies, one on the 17th and one on the 18th hole of their players' rounds, to overtake Stanford and win by a shot.
Still a great final round by Zhang and Seay to make it close. Zhang's 64 moved her up to 2nd place individually. But the medalist from Washington finished eagle-par-birdie and won by 3.

Just one more stroke...oh well.
14 strokes is a crap-ton to make up in one round. That they got 13 of them is an accomplishment. Sadly, they dug themselves too big a hole in the first round. Didn't help that Heck bogeyed her last hole (#3). She had a rough week
Confirmed Zhang's 64 is a course record. Way to go Rose!
