Mike Montgomery coming to Santa Barbara - Papa John - 03-08-2022
In case anyone was looking for an excuse to visit Santa Barbara, you can meet Coach Mike Montgomery on Monday, March 14 at the annual "Prelude to March Madness" event, sponsored by the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table.

The location is right, as the Cabrillo Pavilion is literally on the beach in the Santa Barbara Harbor. Stearns Wharf, downtown State Street and the eclectic Funk Zone are also nearby. The price is right, as the event is free. However, you do need to register and space is limited.

It's kind of fitting, because the Gauchos play their home games in a place called "The Thunderdome".
On the other hand, I don't remember the so-called "BGL" crowd ever caring about basketball that much.

Some BGL had tix. There was a fringe group that railed against “roundball.” Fringe group of one.
