makes sense -- at the 3x3 in Springfield MA earlier this summer, Belibi was the stalwart of our team and clearly one of the top players at the entire tournament. Others who played as well were mostly more experienced - plus Rori Harmon and Ashley Joens. Go FRAN! (Yes, I was the loudmouth in the audience on that Saturday)...

Aaliyah Moore must have played much better this weekend because in Springfield Belibi was MUCH MUCH better.

While I'm glad to see Fran was considered a finalist, I think both Moore and Fran are some puzzling 3x3 choices, because both are a mere 6'1" and both lack an outside shot. Given how much impact outside shots have on 3x3, I think I probably wouldn't pick a post player that small or a shooting forward who can't shoot from more than a few feet from the basket. I love Fran's many gifts on the court, but she's not a great face-up shooter from near, let alone far.  Contrast those picks with our national 3x3 team, where all of Burdick, Cox, Joens, and Van Lith are credible if not outstanding three-point shooters. 

Just my two cents.
