Buchner carded two INTs, the second for a TD to put Marshall up 26-15.  Then his back-up, Drew Pyne, promptly threw a pick to give the ball back to Marshall.  Game Over.  ND then blocked the Marshall punt, got a TD to close within 26-21.  But both the two-pt. conversion and the onside kick failed.  The visiting Thundering Herd thundered across the field in joy.

I watched a lot of the 2nd half. It wasn't a fluke. ND was not the better team today.

App State and Texas A&M are tied 14-14 with 10 and change to play.  App State is in the red zone.

I was really rooting for Sarko to take down Sabanites & Bama.  
Only good for 59minutes.  "Anybody but Bama" is my bus.  
Perhaps TXAM can do it again, in College Station.

Scott Frost got fired today after the loss to Georgia Southern. Collects a $15 mill buyout. Fired three weeks before his buyout would have dropped to $7.5 mill.
