Can the Stanford brain trust be creative with NIL? -

Recent article about how other schools are setting up NIL entities for their student athletes. Link

Particularly interesting is the "Horns with Heart" nonprofit at U of Texas. Every OL player will get $50K annually to "participate in charitable endeavors...". Wonder if Sark had any input on that program.
Is anyone aware of any NIL activity at Stanford?

It’s a bs way to pay players for playing, and I think the collectives should be banned. It’s one thing if someone is recruited for a shoe contract or even to be in an ad for a local car dealer, but this sort of thing should be out of bounds. Pay players directly if you have to (I’m against that as well, but at least it is above board).

When will we have the commercial where a top QB endorses rubbers?
"Many colors, many textures, ease of use, one size fits all."
Can't wait.

Would certainly make sense for U$C. wouldn't it.
Wonder if Church & Dwight (the parent company for Trojans) would be interested.
"All Trojans use Trojans."

Not sure I could see a top QB doing that but it would be right down the alley of whoever this generation's Petros Papadakis or Brandon Hancock is.

Everything I have heard is the University is giving athletes no access to the alumni/boosters for potential NIL deals. Most schools by this point have set up some kind of network that allows athletes to make contacts with the programs biggest supporters and will help start relationships. The school, as always, wants to control who/how/when these Big $ supporters are being contacted.
BTW U$C NIL deals are being run by a Stanford grad

For the endorsement of Preparation H the ideal endorser would be long snapper, gee wonder who might be a candidate?
