WHICH BOWL, if 6-6? - ADPinWDC - 10-16-2022

If you are a Player, then "one game at a time".  Cliche: Yadda, Yadda.  Boring.   As a fan, you get to speculate.
After NDAM win, could STAN get to 6-6?  Which Bowl?  Basically every game from here affects any remote path to a Bowl.
No Pac-12 in Playoff, where GEOG, OHST, CLEM, and... TENN are slated now.  God bless the Vols.

ROSE (Jan 2):  UCLA vs U$C winner [OREG in mix here also]
-- OREG and U$C do not play in season.
COTTON (Jan 2):  OREG vs CINC [at large, NYDay 6 Bowls]
SUN (Dec 30):  ORST or WASH vs SYRC (ACC)
ALAMO (Dec 29):  UCLA vs USC loser vs TCU (Big12)
HOLIDAY (Dec 28):  UTAH vs MIAM (ACC)
LA BOWL (Dec 17):  WAST vs BOIS (MWC)
VEGAS (Dec 17):  WASH vs LSU (SEC)
ARMED FORCES? (Dec 22; @SMU, TX):  STAN vs SMU [if STAN at 6-6]

Couch Potato BOWL:  ZONA, AZST, KALSucks, COLO

Make your Holiday travel plans accordingly (I jest).  Note that all four losses by Cardinal are to likely Pac-12 Bowl Teams.
These will move around, but a pecking order has emerged.

Narrator: we won’t get to 6-6.  Losses to UCLA and Utah are almost guaranteed, and we are at best a coin flip for the rest.

Sure, we know that.  But, which Bowl if we do?  That is the purpose of the fantasy exercise.

Wait, why do you have USC over Utah; Utah just beat USC, and I think they will be one of the top teams in the PAC-12 South.

So far, head to head:
UCLA beat Utah; UCLA still has tough games against Oregon and USC
Utah beat USC; Utah still has a tough game against Oregon
USC lost to Utah and has a tough game against UCLA
Oregon hasn’t played any of the other top team; has tough games against UCLA and Utah

UCLA is in poll position, but has two tough games left.  Utah is 1-1 but has only one tough game left. USC has only one tough game left, but already has a loss.  Oregon probably has the toughest remaining schedule.

We do not KNOW that, we think that!  Until our won loss record says it is impossible, it is still possible.  Yes, for some it is fantasy, but for those who have not yet played themselves into the impossible realm, it is possible.  As far as I am concerned we spend far too much of our lives being impeded by what we think others think we should do, now what we think we should do.
