World series - BostonCard - 11-05-2022
If you need your mind taken off whatever it is we witnessed, and like baseball, go watch Game 6 of the World Series. Good game into the sixth as the Phillies just scored a run to go up 1-0. Nice if you like old fashioned pitching duels.

He’s been there before…. I would have left Wheeler in. 70 pitches and he was dealing. Said that before Alvarez hit a monster HR. But lefty lefty. BS.

Pretty sure if he takes Valdez out in middle of inning he won’t hand him the ball. But I suspect Valdez won’t come out for the 7th.

I was a long time Pat’s fan since it was my first and liked the authentic look of the building. Didn’t care for the flashy neon Geno’s look. Tried Geno’s and I’m not going back to Pat’s.

I don’t eat beef any more, so that’s a problem.
Nice town, Philadelphia. First time here since 2013. Helps that the weather has been delightful. I groaned about a conference in Philadelphia in November; alas the weather has been nicer than home in the Bay Area.
And as a bonus, I didn’t waste my money on free Stanford tickets to the WSU game.
