Believe it or not, Stanford is not on this Bottom 10 list, nor is it even mentioned in the waiting list. So there are others in worse shape, though even Clemson getting pantsed in South Bend (while Stanford won there), doesn't seem to warrant an appearance in any Bottom 10 list.
On a related note, if Stanford made this list, what derogatory name might Ryan McGee use or it? I'm drawing blanks.

FYI, the 5-spot in this weekly list is always reserved for a team that isn’t actually awful but that performed dismally in their last game.

Before getting the win at Notre Dame, Stanford was shown on the waiting list of the Bottom 10 as "Strandford."
I'm having a hard time seeing Ryan McGee turn up on late-night TV on account of his comedic talent.

Shaw in mentioned in this article, but not as a top candidate, but as someone who should be worried about their current employment status.
Does the David Shaw conversation need to begin again? After Stanford stunned Notre Dame and edged Arizona State, things seemed to be settling down. But then the Cardinal were blown out by UCLA and again Saturday against Washington State, which ended its offensive slump by scoring 42 first-half points. Stanford must beat Utah, Cal and BYU to become bowl eligible. Shaw's salary and standing at the school likely bring him back for 2023, but things are bad on The Farm.
