I sent an email to the AD, and I sent a somewhat different email to the President and the Provost. I got a response to the second email from Howard Wolf, the VP for Alumni Affairs. Among other things, Wolf said he is collecting input on this issue and sharing it with university leadership.
When Wolf reports on the feedback, it would be great if he were to say that an overwhelming number of people are urging the university to take action. I don't want him to dismiss me as part of a small, disgruntled minority. I encourage you to take a minute and share your opinion.

I sent an email to Muir and copied Wolf earlier this season, informing them that I was returning all of my remaining tickets and would not come back to the stadium until Shaw is gone.
I would add another email to the list: boardoffice@stanford.edu. This is the email address to reach the Board of Trustees. They have an Athletics Committee.
After this season mercifully ends in a couple days, I will be writing an email to all of them to inform them that I will not be renewing my season tickets after 25 years nor will I watch Stanford football on TV until Shaw is gone. It's simply not worth my time much less my money. Keep in mind that walking away with your eyeballs hits them in the wallet too - maybe more than your feet do.

I'm sending mine after the BYU game. Over the years we would trip to the Bay area for a home game and to see the granddaughters. It's going to be a lot easier (and cheaper) to make our plans well in advance. I look at Shaw as if he is an aging Cy Young Award winner. He had a good run, but he has lost his fastball. His best days are in the review mirror.
I don't buy into the story Stanford can't attract the recruits needed to play top tier football. In 2012 Bleacher reports graded 4 of the top 5 recruiting classes were 2005-2008, closely following a time when fans sounded a lot like they do today.
With a charismatic and creative head and institutional support, Stanford can have a football team that plays in BCS Bowl games. It can happen happen again, but not with David Shaw in charge.

What are you smoking???? NIL won't have a play at Stanford, if it were the case, other sports would be taking advantage now. Sorry but I don't see Burlingame Ford paying big money for a football player to push Explorers. Like they said toning in the broadcast, Shaw has not had a full year to develop since Covid. What big name coach is going to come in there when they are not able to NIL as USC did to get players to transfer. Plus, you forget about the entrance requirements.
