Mills replaced - Phogge - 11-24-2022

Texans announce that Kyle Allen is starting this week. They almost certainly will draft a QB in the first round.

Hard for Mills to produce with such a crappy roster.

It was fun while it lasted. More than I ever expect him to achieve. I hope he catches on somewhere else with a better roster and shows that he belongs.

For better or worse, Mills is still in Houston. I doubt he is going to be released anytime soon. They are rearranging deck chairs. Next year, if they draft a replacement, he may be at risk. However, he has shown he can play at this level, so keeping him around as a backup seems logical.

If Texans thought that was the problem, they wouldn't dump him. If he's all that good, somebody will pick him up.
