Kate Starbird and the online harassment she was receiving was discussed earlier. This is Kate being named in a lawsuit regarding UW's withholding documents in the DHS's disinformation "project". Think they are two different topics, as the lawsuit was filed just recently.

RE: Kate Starbird - BostonCard - 12-09-2022

Her original tweet is now hidden, but I think in that thread Starbird mentioned that these groups were using records requests to swamp her and the university.  This seems like it could be part of the pattern.  I'm not going to adjudicate whether the requests are important bits of transparency or "regulatory harassment", as doing so, would (as card crimson points out) have all the earmarks of a third rail.

I think it is fine to acknowledge that the University is subject of a lawsuit pertaining to responding to a records request about her.
