Christian McCaffrey's mom was interviewed during the 49ers-Seahawks game on Thursday night.
I've never met her, but she seems like a character:

A graphic had just flashed onto the screen that detailed McCaffrey’s statistical accomplishments this season, and had him dressed up in a lab coat in front of chalkboards. This prompted Lisa to say, “You know he's a college dropout, right?”

Haha, also she (Stanford soccer star with I believe an Olympic sprinter father) had that quote about her and her husband (Stanford and NFL football star) Ed McCaffrey:
"That's why Ed and I got together, so we could breed fast white guys."

Lisa’s father was Dave Sime Olympic silver medal in the 100 1960. He held three world records at one time

Unfortunately it was said that Lisa had such a bad relationship with him that they couldn't even stand to be in the same room together.
