I was just surprised this week to learn that he was still alive, I guess I can forget that. 

Probably the only Soccer player I can name besides Beckham, and he only because a movie was named after him.

I was one of the lucky 20K who saw his US debut in Downing Stadium on Randall's Island in NYC in 1975.  He arrived via a helicopter.  Great lifetime memory.
