Udodi 10.07 at the Stanford Invite - akiddoc - 03-31-2023

4/100 off of his Stanford record. Expect to see him under 10 this spring.

Only a fool would play football with that speed. He'll go to the next 2 Olympics for Nigeria.

Wish him the best and completely understand making a decision that best serves him. That said I hope he's treated better here than Eileen Gu has been.

I would expect that Udodi with even marginal improvement to be in the 9.90-10.00 100m range by June. His 200m time should be under 20 seconds, somewhere in the 19.90-19.95 range.  Apparently he is running the 200m today at the invitational although it not listed on the meet schedule on the website.

Udodi's problem in the 200 is that he only knows how to run 185 meters. He loses his stride at 185 every race. If he fixes that he'll run 19.7.

Udodi 20.40 today.

Bob K: What has happened to Dorien Simon? Ran 10.5 in high school. Now running 10.9 and 22+. As a junior.

Simon had like 1 good race and that’s it. Don’t know but I also wonder
