Men's Golf - GK3 - 09-11-2023

If the team continues to play like it did most recently, it will be a long season.  +32 for the top 4 through 3 rounds.  No one under par.  Way too many big scores, top 5 overall had 3 scores of 80 or higher.  I hope there were some missing players and things get better. To be fair, only one team broke par and then only by 1 stroke so conditions must have been difficult.  Only good thing is the USC finished last +60 for their effort, I guess they need to hit the transfer portal for some golfers.

Fall tournaments don’t mean that much. Plus Stanford is missing its best player Michael Thorbjornsen who will miss the fall recovering from a stress fracture in his back.

I knew Michael was missing but not why.  Hope he makes a full recovery.  Bad backs and golf don't go well together.
