Revenue sharing - OutsiderFan - 10-16-2023

Now it's not just me saying it is inevitable and being castigated for saying so. According to this, 90% of D1 Athletic Directors would say it is if asked.

And supposedly, there is a Congressional hearing on NIL tomorrow, with college campus admins pleading with Congress to make unpaid labor legal by writing laws that allow college athletes to be exploited as they always have been.

I'm not sure about y'all, but I for one do not want Congress involved. But I do wonder how many sports can continue being played if market forces make it impossible to finance sports beyond the big revenue ones. 

Maybe if revenue sharing with players did happen, donors might support the other sports, but I have my doubts.
