My condolences to his son Tim, Stanford '86. I was one of the assistant basketball managers in 82-83 when Tim was the co-head manager as a frosh. He was a bit intense (understandably) but was a good guy to work with.

It would have been interesting if someone had placed an empty chair in the center of the court just before the moment of silence for Knight at the Stanford WBB game.   Probably too controversial.
