well assuming the agreement in principle is finalized.....

Quote:The University of Washington and Washington State University have agreed in principle to a five-year continuation of the storied Apple Cup football series through at least 2028.

Next year's match-up will take place on September 14, 2024 at Lumen Field in Seattle, with the following four games alternating between the school's campuses: 2025 (Pullman), 2026 (Seattle), 2027 (Pullman) and 2028 (Seattle). Terms of the agreement are still being finalized.

From what I have read Oregon wants to continue the OSU match up but the Beavers aren't sure if they do.

Doesn't surprise me too much. Very old rivalry, second-oldest on the West Coast. It would be tough to give it up. It's been played 126 times, same as Stanford vs. Cal.

If $C or the Ruins want to play us, my answer is "absof*ckinlutely not."  Unless they pay us 45 million for the game.  That would help even the books on their betrayal for a year.

Cheers,
