Really sad news for her and a of immense proportions blow to Utah.
That said, none of us should think for a minute that this makes Utah a much less competitive team. Their remaining returning players and transfers still make them very dangerous, and they should be significantly favored when we go to Utah to play them on their court. Of course, if we should beat them there, then all that could change ;)

What is that? I've never seen anything like that for a WCBB team!

I think we will find out a little more about how good Utah is when they play South Carolina this weekend.
Aside from the loss to Baylor, they have been running up brobdingnagian scores against cupcakes.

Too many good shooters requiring really good defense from all. Stanford can defend inside assuming no serious foul trouble but I am not sure we can effectively defend the outside against someone like Utah.
